The course is aimed primarily at Environmental Health Practitioners and Environmental Health staff whose work is likely to include the assessment of compliance with the regulations.
About the Programme
The course aims to provide delegates with a clear understanding of the legal framework, practicalities of enforcement and sampling in relation to the EU Microbiological Criteria of Foodstuffs Regulation. The course will help delegates to:
- Have an appreciation of how the microbiological criteria relate to EU food hygiene regulations
- Have a detailed knowledge of the requirements of Regulation (EC) 2073/2005
- Consider micro organisms, sampling plans and interpret results
- Practically apply the regulations in enforcement situations
