To provide Officers with practical guidance on food sampling techniques for the purposes of contaminants analysis.

Consider the nature and incidence of common food contaminants
Review the types of foods that are vulnerable to contamination by mycotoxins, metals, dioxins etc
Review the requirements of Regulation (EC) 1881/2006
Provide practical guidance on sampling techniques
